Brett Bader Receives SHRP Player of the Year Trophy

Seminole Casino of Coconut Creek threw a player’s party at Legends Lounge on the eve of the WSOP Circuit Main Event complete with passed hor ‘d oeuvres and some top end prime rib from NYY Steak.

The man of the hour was South Florida pro Brett Bader. After a year-long grind, he took the top spot in the race for the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year honors. Bader was neck-and-neck with WPT Seminole Lucky Hearts Poker Open Champion winner Darryll Fish but pulled ahead in the SHRPO Championship, the last event to earn points.

Over the last year, Bader cashed in six SHRP Championships/Main Events with three final tables. That was good enough to vault him to the top where he earned a seat into all SHRP Championships and Main Event over the next year.
