$500 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em
Level 1: 150/300
The fourth trophy event of the series is the $500 heads-up event, and it now underway with 46 entries. That means 18 players will have a bye for the first round. Here are the other vitals:
- No late registration is available
- Players begin with 15,000 chips
- Blinds start at 150/300 for Round 1
- Levels are 15 minutes apiece
- $20,000 Guaranteed Prizepool
- Winner receives entry into the $2,500 Championship Event

Event 1 (Day 1F): Evan Teitelbaum Finishes Day 1F in Front

Play has concluded for the night, and 30 players remain from the 989 who began this event.

Evan Teitelbaum bagged the big stack of 387,500, claiming the bonus prize for Day 1F. Teitelbaum is a local pro with nearly a half million dollars in live earnings, and he’s put himself in a good spot to add to that this week. Thanks to his performance today, he’ll be freerolling in the $2,500 Championship Event, which features a $1 million guarantee.

The clock is paused with ten minutes left in the level, and a card is drawn. It’s a three, so each table will play that many more hands before calling it a night.

A table has just been broken, and the field has been reduced to 36 players. There are four tables remaining in the room, and Pedro Palacio leads the pack with more than 250,000 chips.

Palacio is a local from right here in Coconut Creek, and his two previous tournament cashes both came during the April series in this same building.

The player who bags up the biggest stack at night’s end wins an entry into the $2,500 Championship Event, to be held on October 1.

Level 9 concludes, and registration is now closed for Event 1. This Day 1F flight was easily the largest of the six, drawing a field of 239 entries.

Those numbers add up to 989 entries in total, though that count is still unofficial. Tournament staff will verify the tally and release the prizepool information during the overnight hours.

The first eight levels are in the books, and the players are taking a 15-minute break. So far, there are 229 entries for this flight. Level 9 represents the last chance to register for Event 1, with the window scheduled to close promptly at midnight.
Event 1 (Day 1F): Field Size Soars Over 200

As anticipated, this Day 1F flight is going to be the biggest of the bunch. Level 6 is winding toward its conclusion, and the number on the board is ticking upward quickly. It shows 214 entries so far, with registration open through the end of Level 9.
The field is now approaching 1,000 combined entries across the six starting flights.
