Players are on their final break of the day with just two more levels to make noise and bag chips for Day 2. Just 56 remain and they’ll come close to cutting that number in half in the final hour. We are counting down the stacks and will return with the leaders.

While they are taking a breather, they also have a chance to enter the Coco Football Challenge just outside the doors of the Pavilion. The game pays out for weekly winners and $250,000 in cash and free play for the end-of-season winner.

All for zero entry fee. Check the link above or the banner below for contest details.

Players are one level away from their final break of the day and they are making moves. They’ve quickly reduced themselves under 70 players in the field with some local favorites not making the cut this time around.

Steven Bennett and Luis Santino both have past success on and off property but will need to fire another bullet if they want to add this title to the résumé. Oneil McCalla, Nigel Murray, Claude Nganga, Elliott Zaydman, and Eric Piderit are on the other end of the spectrum with a chance to bag chips.

The pace has picked up a bit after registration closed but 126 players still remain in the field with a chance to bag chips in a few hours. One of those won’t be Zach Kessler who busted near the start of Level 7 when he got his chips in good. He was gone shortly after the hand along with Nancy Birnbaum, both will be back for another shot.

A few other regulars are doing well today with Nigel Murray, Oniel McCalla, and Eric Piderit all sitting comfortably.

More players are beginning to enter the Pavilion room as a $75 Qualifier to this event gets underway at 3pm with 10 seats guaranteed. Registration is open in the Qualifier until the start of the 7th level, approximately 5:15pm.
