Archibald Barrant, WSOP Circuit Seniors Champion

It took less than 12 hours for the Seniors Event to go from 278 entries to a winner. It was a big turnout for the special tournament and Archibald Barrant outlasted them all to walk away with $13,340 plus the Seniors Event WSOP Circuit ring.

The Seniors Event had a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool and they easily doubled it to put $55,600 up for grabs. The last 30 players earned some money and they hit the final table soon after the dinner break

SHRP regular Steve Ekin hit the final table with only five big blinds but was able to pick up chips and take second place for $13,340. Other notables making the money include Bill Farnan, Greg Spinder, Paula Holder, Richard Leger, Irwin Block, Joseph Levitt, Mack Ham, and David Coughlin.

It was a great way to close out the series. Congratulations to Archibald on his WSOP Circuit Seniors win and the $13,340 payday was the biggest poker score of his career.
