TK Miles

We were stuck on 399 entries for Flight B for a while but the field broke through the barrier. Entry number 400 belongs to TK Miles and he had a few people talking as he took his seat.

We mentioned Sheddy Siddiqui going deep in the WPT Borgata event and Miles went a bit further. The two-time WSOP Circuit winner (and 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Winter Poker Open Champion) came very close to winning his first career World Poker Tour title. Miles was heads up for the win but fell one spot short, earning a $383,000 payday less than 24 hours ago.

Sheddy Siddiqui

The entry count is creeping up and we added one more over the last level. They still have plenty of time to get in the game with registration closing around 8:30pm. The prize pool is already over the $1 Million Guarantee and now we’re working on the next milestone.

SHRP favorite Sheddy Siddiqui made a return to his roots after a successful campaign in the north. He took the trek to South Jersey for the WPT Borgata Championship and made it deep with a 32nd place finish out of 1.075 entries.

Matthew Zarcadoolas

Flight B Main Event players returned to their seats after the dinner break and we picked up another 20 entries over that time period. We are only a couple new ones away from 400 for the flight and a great capper to the series.

Matthew Zarcadoolas is back in The Pavilion and trying to push his name further up the leaderboard for the Casino Championship. The South Florida grinder already had a couple SHRP titles to his name but added his first career WSOP Circuit ring a few days ago in the $600 Turbo event.

Zarcadoolas is sporting his new jewelry this evening and comparing notes with his next door neighbor, Kammar Andries, about his WSOP Circuit ring from the Main Event back in February.

At present, Charles Johnson contends for the chip lead with more than 125,000.

Florida pro and former November Niner John Dolan is making waves midway through Day 1B. Dolan’s stack sits at just under 100,000 and he’s one of the big ones with dinner break just a bit away.

This marks Dolan’s debut at the 2018 WSOP Circuit Coconut Creek and he’s making the most of his second entry after busting his first.

The clock now shows 297 Day 1B entries and the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Main Event is all but assured to crack the $1,000,000 guarantee. One of the newest players in the game is one that’s left his mark on the series already, Zo Karim.

Karim leads this stop’s WSOP Circuit Casino Championship race following four cashes including two final table appearances. He’s amassed 72.5 points toward the 12-tournament race and leads the way in the midst of the home stretch.

Updated Casino Championship Points Standings

Following the completion of action Monday, the player that owns the most points via in-the-money finishes will go down as the Casino Champion and earn a $10,000 entry in the season-ending Global Casino Championship.

Bob Chow

Bob Chow was up and at it today before many of his Day 1B counterparts. That is, Chow played the 9am $250 turbo mega satellite into the Main Event. While he wasn’t able to close the deal on a $1,700 seat, he finished fourth — one spot shy of an entry — and earned a $1,100 cash prize. Chow parlayed that toward a Flight B entry and is among a Day 1B pool that continues to grow in size.

Now midway through Level 4, the clock shows over 250 entries and the $1,000,000 guarantee is all but a lock with registration and re-entry until about 8:20pm.

Kammar Andries

Defending champion Kammar Andries fired two bullets yesterday only to find the felt. At the time, he told staff he had school today and that was the end of his title run. After a night’s sleep, he thought better of it and decided to give it another go here in Flight B.

Andries is on his first entry in today’s play and hopes to find better luck in Flight B than Flight A.

Players are now on their first break of the day.

Six-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Martin Ryan

With the clock going every closer to 200 Day 1B entries, there are a number of familiar faces taking to the South Florida. One of those faces is that of Martin Ryan. With six rings, Ryan is no stranger to WSOP Circuit success, but on top of that, he’s quite comfortable at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

Two of his wins have come right here on this property, winning the opener during February’s event and recently scoring a follow-up W in this year’s $1,100 buy-in event.

Ryan is in the Main Event Day 1B field and looks to add a career-defining achievement to his resume.
