The RunGood All-Stars brought their poker tour to South Florida and we hosted five different ring events headlined by the $600 buy-in $50,000 guarantee Main Event. The 519 entries smashed the guarantee and Raminder Singh added to an already impressive résumé by taking the title along with $45,456 after a heads-up deal.

“This definitely ranks way high up; in (Seminole) Coconut Creek Casino, I’ve never won a big tournament here,” Singh said. “This is my first major tournament win at Coconut Creek, and I’m looking forward to many more!”

The two starting flights combined to push the prize pool up to $275,070 with the fantastic turnout this weekend and we had 74 of them survive to make Day 2 on Sunday. With 65 players getting paid, the money bubble came around halfway through the first level of the return and the pace was quick through most of the day.

Notables making the money included Solange Lucas who began Day 2 with only five big blinds and Angela Lynn who made the money with less than two. WPTDeepStacks Hollywood champ Scott Baumstein caught a tough cooler with kings into aces after the bubble and Jeffrey Ginocchi came one spot away from making the final table.

David Albertson, RunGood Event 1 champion, made another deep run and made it to fourth place before exiting the Main Event. That virtually locked up his RunGood Casino Champion crown with a trip to an exclusive tournament in Las Vegas in December.

It came down to a heads-up match between two tough South Florida players. Two-time WSOP Circuit winner TK Miles versus multi-SHRP champ Singh. Both players won a tournament at the recent Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood and it was a long battle.

With Singh holding a slight chip lead, the two agreed to an even deal to divide the remaining prize pool awarding Singh the Main Event title. Both earned $45,456 with Singh taking the RunGood All-Stars ring and earning a seat into the RunGood All-Stars Comeback event at the PokerGo Studios in December.

“TK is one of the best players here in Florida; he plays solid, and I was really looking forward to that match.” Singh commented “We both were almost even in chips, and we decided to chop. He’s a good guy; good player.”

With Raminder Singh holding a slight lead, he came to an agreement with TK Miles to chop up the remaining prize pool right down the middle with Singh taking the title, the ring, and the RunGood All-Stars exclusive tournament in Las Vegas.

There have been few big pots in the heads-up match and nothing game-changing. Two tough players, deep stacks, and 40-minute levels; neither is going to give it away.

Mike Masri limped from the small blind, Raminder Singh raised to 300,000 and Masri called. The flop came and Masri checked. Singh bet 350,000, Masri check-raised all in for 1,300,000 and Singh quickly called.

Masri needed to catch a spade or some magic running cards to double against Singh’s set and hit his flush on the turn. His joy was short-lived as the river paired the board to improve Singh to a full house sixes over fives.

The three remaining players took an extended 20-minute break in lieu of a full dinner break. They are back in their seats with TK Miles leading but none of them are short.

TK Miles opened to 100,000 from the cutoff, David Albertson came along from the button, and the flop came . Miles bet 150,000 and Albertson raised to 600,000. Miles moved all in and Albertson called at risk for 1,260,000.

Albertson caught top pair aces but he was behind the two pair of Miles. Neither the turn nor the river were any help to Albertson and he was eliminated in fourth place.

Combined with his Event 1, this result virtually guarantees the Albertson will be crowned the 2021 RunGood All-Stars Casino Champion.

Richard Leger opened to 200,000 from the hijack and TK Miles three-bet to 900,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Leger called all in for 720,000 total.

Leger was in a lot of trouble with his kicker, did not improve on the , and was drawing dead when Miles made a diamond flush on the turn. The river finished the board and Leger was sent out in fifth place.

David Albertson limped from the hijack and Joseph Nolin moved all in for 390,000 from the cutoff. Raminder Singh called from the big blind and Albertson folded.

Nolin was live to double but missed the entire board to exit in sixth place.

This result is a great return on investment for Nolin. He made the final table of the $150 Green Chip Bounty in Hollywood that had RunGood Main Event seats added to the last nine players; a nice freeroll for Nolin.
