The Main Event was on dinner break as Ryan was collecting his fourth-place money and he went straight to the registration desk. He came back with the rest of the Main Event field and immediately ran his 20,000 starting stack up to 100,000.

David Prociak

The first break in Flight A of the World Series of Poker Circuit Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Main Event is done and players are back in their seats. With the growing field, there’s a number of notables pulling up a chair in the prestigious tournament.

One of those notables is Seminole standout David Prociak. Prociak was the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year and that achievement catapulted him to some pretty big poker success. In addition to a slew of Seminole wins (including a $240 Omaha 8 win here in Coco), Prociak owns a gold bracelet. He’s yet to claim the ring, but is hopeful that comes here in the $1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Darryll Fish

Fresh off a huge score and his first WPT title during Hollywood’s Lucky Hearts Poker Open, Darryll Fish is back on the tournament felt and jockeying for another payday. It was less than a month ago when Fish scored more than $500,000 in the aforementioned LHPO WPT Championship good for his first win on the tour and scoring him an entry in the upcoming Tournament of Champions.

Fish is a Florida native and it’s no surprise to see him back grinding here in Coconut Creek. He won this Main Event back when it was ran north in Palm Beach, but the Coconut Creek installment will be a tougher get with a bigger field and some of the country’s top talent flocking to one of the region’s premier properties.

John Dolan

With more than $4,6000,000 in reported earnings, John Dolan is one of Florida’s most decorated tournament players. But Flight A of the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Main Event has been less than ideal thus far.

A recent hand saw a late position player raise to 225. Dolan three-bet the small blind to 675. Without hesitation, the late-position player shoved having Dolan covered. After a few moments, Dolan folded and was left with 11,500 — just about half starting stack.

Dolan is a past champion of this property, having won the Coco Poker Open Championship in 2014.
