Only a few have lost their stack while more continue to enter including Zach “Redlocks” Kessler making his first appearance of the series.

Noon time rolled around a players have begun eyeing up their lunch options for their first break in an hour. The Coco Poker Open doesn’t offer the standard fare you’ll find in most poker rooms, here the grub is just a few steps away with great options including everything for the health conscious to the hot dog loving player.

Players are taking their seats for the start of Flight B of Event 1. The $250,000 guaranteed No Limit Hold’em tournament drew 185 entrants for the last night’s opening flight and even more are expected to put up $350 for their piece of the action this morning.

Players start with 20,000 stacks and will play through 14 levels, 30 minutes each. Players have the option of re-entering the tournament or late registering until the start of Level 5, approximately 1:15pm for this flight. If they bust out after that point, the next chance kicks off at 7pm with two more flights tomorrow.

Everyone is chasing Edward Medoff who finished 1A with 292,300 and the lead among the 36 who survived to make Day 2. Those who remain in the tournament when play is complete today will join them at 1pm on Sunday to play down to a winner.

Tournament staff gave their players instructions and cards are in the air.
