Wally Maddah, WSOP Circuit Event 11 winner

The WSOP Circuit had a fast-paced tournament on the schedule for a Saturday afternoon that would award another ring before the night was through. Nine hours after the start of the tournament, SHRP favorite Wally Maddah earned his first WSOP Circuit ring along with $6,721.

The tournament drew 112 entries to put $22,400 in the prize pool and the last 12 players took home some money. There were only two tables remaining shortly after registration closed and they were in the money a few levels later.

Event 3 champion Martin Ryan entered the final table with a chance for ring number seven. He fell short in fourth place but that result was good enough to vault him over Zo Karim for the Casino Championship lead.

Ryan was eliminated by Maddah and that put him in the lead and he stayed there until the end. He sent Luke Speer out in third place and rivered a straight against Andre Bryan to take the title in the early Sunday hours.

On top of the WSOP Circuit ring, this is also the 100th career recorded Seminole Hard Rock Poker cash. Maddah has 50 cashes at his SHRP home in Tampa, 47 down south in Hollywood, and this is his third trip to the Coco Poker payout desk.

Congratulations to Wally on the title and thanks to all our players who came out to our last one-day ring event to make it a good one.
