Evan Teitelbaum

Evan Teitelbaum and Michael Goldfarb were seated side-by-side earlier in the day but Teitelbaum purchased a seat change (aka busted his stack, re-entered, and drew the same table). He was now seated on the other side of the table and they were heads up to a 6s4h3d flop.

Goldfarb checked, Teitelbaum moved all in for 14,100 and Goldfarb called after a minute to think it out.

Teitelbaum: AcAs
Goldfarb: Ah6h

Goldfarb had top pair top kicker but was behind the two black aces of Teitelbaum. Goldfarb needed running aces or some other miracle but the 3s turn and 8s river sent the double across the table.

Evan Teitelbaum – 35,500 (59 bb)
Michael Goldfarb – 54,200 (90 bb)

The entry counted topped 100 after the first break and we still have some of our Senior players taking the elevator up to the Poker Room. They are having fun and slinging some chips.

A few in early action include Michael Goldfarb, Evan Teitelbaum, David Williams, Larry Klur, Wally Maddah, and Jeffrey Silverstein.

Williams came into Day 2 of the Super Stack with a tiny stack; returning 95th out of 101. But after a bit of luck with the powerful 73o, Williams was able to ladder up a few pay jumps to finish 79th.

Julio Melendez

Players are back in their seats after the first break and they doubled up the guarantee while they were gone on break. The prize pool is now over $20,000 with more than two hours to spin it up.

There weren’t many monster stacks found while they were gone but Julio Melendez was up there. He returned to a stack of 74,500 and the clear leader in early action.

Lucas Tae, RunGood Event 2 Champion

Event 1 kicked off the RunGood series but Event 2 awarded the first ring. The $130 Opening Night Ring Event drew a huge 211-entry field and Lucas Tae walked away with the title along with $5,028 after a long heads-up battle with Kimani McKoy.

The field more than doubled the $10,000 guarantee and put $20,678 in the prize pool. The last 27 spots were paid and the tournament quickly moved into the money. Action slowed down once they reached the final table including a heads-up match that lasted longer than two hours.

Tae won the match, earned the ring, and picked up a big payout for a small buy-in; the new jewelry going along nicely with his WSOP Circuit ring. Tae recently pushed his career total over $100,000 with a second-place finish in a SHRPO event in Hollywood a few weeks ago and rode his heater to the title.

The win also means Tae sits atop the RunGood Casino Champion Leaderboard leaderboard. The player with the most points at the end of the series will earn tournament seats to a 64-player capped event streamed from inside the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. There are four events remaining so plenty of time to earn those points.

Boston Rob Mariano

Event 2 cruised right past its $10,000 guarantee in the first level and players continue to put up the $130 buy-in to get the big field. Registration will remain open until 8:15 pm so get down here if you can.

RunGood Ambassadors Boston Rob Mariano and Ray Henson were in the game early and mixing it up. Henson got a good start to his tournament, knocking a player out with eights versus KQ for a double starter stack.
