Santos: AdTs

Santos needed to catch to double but Solares moved further ahead on the AcKs7c flop. The Jh turn and 9d river completed the board and Santos was sent out in 13th place.

Josias Santos – Eliminated in 13th place ($13,725)

Paterson: JdJs
Wandling: AcQd

Wandling hit the flop but not has hard as Paterson when it came AdJh7s. Paterson was ahead with his set and stayed that way after the Tc turn and Ts river.

Nardi: 8s4h
Abady: 5h5d

Nardi had top pair with an open-ended straight draw against Abady’s flopped set. Nardi had eight outs to stay in the game but blanked the Jc river to exit in 16th place.

Harry O’Brien limped from early position and Corey Bierria did the same from the hijack. Justin Donato shipped his button for 495,000 and O’Brien came along looking for an early knockout.

O’Brien: KhQh
Donato: Ac8c

Donato needed to dodge the suited live cards but the KcJd7d flop gave O’Brien the lead. The 4h turn and 7s river changed nothing and we had a quick Day 3 KO.

Dmitrii Perfilev

Day 2 of the Main Event has come to an end with 17 players still in the game vying for the big WSOP Circuit ring. Dmitrii Perfilev continued to hold the lead until the end but his advantage shrunk over the last level.

There are a lot of players in the 30 big blind range so tomorrow will be a long day getting down to the Main Event champion. Sheddy Siddiqui, Jason Wandling, Stu Paterson, Josias Santos, Michael Amato, and Dustin Murphy are a few of our local regulars still in the hunt for the ring.

Action resumes at noon on Monday and we will have all the action.

Jose Reyes

Action folded to Jason Wandling in the cutoff and he moved all in for 403,000. Jose Reyes reshipped from the small blind for 550,000 and Jordan Schneider folded his big.

Reyes: Ac7c
Wandling: QcJh

Wandling had two live cards to double but Reyes moved further ahead on the AhTd4s flop. Wandling asked for a king to fill his gutshot, missed the 7d turn, but the four-outer came on the Ks river for his double.

Reyes was left with five big blinds and went out soon after.

Jason Wandling – 850,000 (28 bb)
Jose Reyes – Eliminated in 18th place ($11,325)
