David Prociak and Claudangelo Beaudouin are heads up in Event 7 of the Coco Poker Showdown. They’ve each secured $2,530 with the tournament’s winner pocketing $3,740.
Prociak holds the early advantage with 340,000 chips to Beaudouin’s 210,000.

With seven players left, the board was and Joseph Patalano got his last 8,500 in the pot. It folded to fellow shortstack Jerry Kowalsky and he called off the last of his chips. Patalano tabled for a straight. Kowalsky had for a flush draw. The board completed with the . With neither player claiming a low, Patalano’s straight was best and he busted Kowalsky on the bubble.
The final six players are now in the money. David Prociak retains his chip lead with about 280,000 of the 550,000 chips in play.

Level 7 is freshly underway and cards are in the air following the first break in tonight’s 6 p.m. flight of Event 6. The clock shows 70 entries to this point making it the largest of the starting flights yet.

After about seven hours of play, today’s 12 p.m. $240 Omaha high/low event is down to the final 10 and combined to the unofficial final table. Holding the chip lead with the tournament’s $3,740 top prize up for grabs is none other than Orlando’s David Prociak.
Just two months ago, Prociak finished runner up to Jake Bazeley in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open Championship for more than $330,000. Now, 60 days later, he’s in pole position at the Coco Poker Showdown’s most recent event.

Through three flights, the field stands at 152 entries. A total of 15 players have punched their ticket to Day 2 with Flight B’s Sean Anderson claiming the chip lead of 200,500 chips.

Flight C chip leader, Ben Robinson
Flight C of Event 6 concluded moments ago. The third of eight starting flights in the $350 buy-in, $250,000 guaranteed no limit hold’em tournament, Flight C played from 48 starting to just five remaining. Ben Robinson bagged the chip lead with 141,000. While that was good enough for pole position in his respective flight, Robinson trails the 200,500 chips of Flight B’s Sean Anderson by a margin.
Other Flight C participants joining Robinson for Day 2 include reigning Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Ory Hen and Event 1 fourth-place finisher Ryan Anderson.

With 50 entries and growing, the $10,000 guarantee has officially been met in Event 7, today’s $240 Omaha high/low tournament. Despite some rough weather in Coconut Creek and its surrounding areas, the field is strong and getting stronger with each minute.
